Small Wedding Reception Cake
This cake was done as a donation, and there's a sweet story to it. A friend of mine from college works in promotions for healthcare facilities. She called me with an odd request. There was a lady in one of the facilities she promotes whose only daughter was getting married in another state and the mother was in too poor health to travel to the wedding. So they organized a reception for her with a big screen and Skype so she could watch the wedding in real time. My friend asked me if we would be willing to do a small wedding-looking cake for the reception as a donation, for publicity only. Of course we agreed!
This is a white cake with 8" bottom tier and 6" top tier. Buttercream icing, fondant roses and sugar pearls.
Another Toy Story Birthday!
Toy Story cakes were very popular in the fall! This one is a 1/2 sheet white cake with buttercream and freehand fondant character.

This was for my daughter Cammy's 4th Birthday party. Bottom is 8" square yellow cake, top is 6" round chocolate cake. Buttercream icing and freehand fondant characters.

Princess Castle Birthday and matching cupcakes.
Main castle structure is an 8" white cake. The turrets are devil's food snack cakes stacked and threaded onto skewers. The rooftops and tree are sugar cones. The pathway is lined with chocolate rocks.
The purple cupcakes are devil's food cake. The green cupcakes are white cake.
Tardis Birthday Cake.
This cake was for a friend's birthday. Her husband ordered it because her favorite show is Dr. Who. The cake is chocolate with buttercream and fondant.
